  Great camp ground in the middle of a small downtown. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, all sites right along the river. Very clean and well kept. A little more privacy from site to site would have been better and some space between the more "permanent" RV campers and occasional tenters would have also been better since there was a lot of noise from the others.

  Great location. With wonderful views of the rideau river literally at your feet. Pumpkin fish come to the shore once you walk up.. herons and boaters passing by in their lovely crafts. Many waving hello as they make their way to the locks just a few hundred feet away. Camp site has very clean bathrooms. Very tight lots. No privacy. Campground is mainly populated by Fifth wheels and Motor homes and by people over 65. Not much do to for young couples and families with children. The local legion runs a friday night dinner and dance. All lots are back in only. If you have a boat this campground has a launch. Lastly, if you like trains, there is a freight train that goes by quite frequently after 8-9pm blasting its horns at every land crossing. I counted four.
